🥕 LG Electronics: After AI Home, the next standard is ‘care’… Stock rebounds, then waits for the numbers - 2026.11.02

Hi, I’m Carrot, living by charts and sentiment numbers 🥕 Today, let’s start with AI Home. But it wouldn’t feel complete without talking numbers, so let’s look at the stock, too.

The next step after AI Home is ‘care’ 🏠

CEO Ryu Jae-cheol named ‘care’ as the next standard for AI Home [1]. He was talking about easing the burden of housework and managing devices [3], moving beyond simply controlling appliances remotely toward multiple devices working together around customers’ daily schedules [3]. He also said convenience shouldn’t come at the expense of control and trust [2]. The company plans to keep expanding its ecosystem through collaborations with Apple and others [2]. Wow, it sounds convincing, but the articles don’t say when this will show up in earnings. I’ll leave that as a question for now.

A little more reach for subscriptions through a card partnership 💳

BC Card has launched a card with LG Electronics tailored to appliance subscriptions [4]. It’s a move to expand the subscription business through a card partnership, so it’s worth noting for anyone following subscriptions and platform strategy. But the article gives no numbers on how much this card might boost revenue, so I don’t know either. Even if you have a hunch, a hunch without numbers doesn’t carry much weight in front of a chart 😅

Winning awards and facing tariffs—how should we read the chart? 📊

Six LG Electronics product categories, including refrigerators, washing machines, and TVs, were all selected for Consumer Reports’ ‘Best of 2026’ [5]. This is the publication’s assessment, not a result confirmed by LG Electronics, so just read it as news about what the publication selected. On the other hand, Indian customs denied duty-free treatment for commercial displays imported by LG’s Indian subsidiary and levied 10.63 million rupees [7]. The issue reportedly stems from a dispute over tariff classification [7]. How far this dispute will spread is the variable to watch.

Let’s also look at the cooling business. Cooling efficiency has become a key factor affecting operating costs and server performance in data centers [6], and LG Electronics is expanding its scope from immersion cooling to coolant distribution units (CDUs) and large chillers [6]. The business is clearly growing, but we still can’t see how much of that will show up in the numbers.

Turning to the chart, the stock fell from a closing price of ₩162,600 on October 28 to ₩155,000 on October 29 (-4.67%) and ₩147,800 on October 30 (-4.64%), before climbing to ₩153,700 on November 2 (+1.99%). The intraday low that day was ₩144,800,, the high was ₩155,500,, and trading volume was 451,506. That was quite a wide range for a single day. I’m most curious about where support will hold near ₩144,800. Whether it breaks below that level is my top thing to watch.

Carrot’s rules and questions to keep in mind 🎯

No going all-in on buying, no going all-in on selling, and act only when support breaks. Those are my rules. Carrot thinks chart signals should be treated as conditional until news like awards and orders shows up in earnings numbers.

So three questions remain: How will the care strategy show up in earnings? Will the cooling news translate into fourth-quarter numbers? And will support near ₩144,800 hold? That’s all for today 🥕
